Minister Shalonda Robinson believes that through God’s insight and direction she is equipped to help those seeking guidance and support. She is the mother of six and the grandmother of four; she has worked with children and families for more than 20 years. She is a life coach and spiritual counselor. She received her undergraduate studies in Human Social Service Administration and is now pursuing her Masters in Christian Counseling.
Along with her husband, Tony Robinson, Shalonda is the co-owner of Ordered Steps Child care. Ordered Steps’ focus is to assist the family where ever the need lies. These areas include academic support, parenting training, social development and Spiritual/Moral growth.
Minister Robinson was called to ministry 20 years ago and believes with God’s spirit we can do ALL things through HIM who strengthens us. Shalonda is a minister at One Way Ministry under the leadership of Bishop Michael T. Moten. There Minister Robinson is allowed to work in the call of God through leadership, intercession, and counseling while continuing to submit to God.
Shalonda has been blessed to work with and coach both foster families and children. While working in In-Home services, Shalonda trained adults in the areas of Behavioral Modification and Social Development. While working in the community based setting and as a Director of an Emergency Shelter for youth, Shalonda worked with youth that had experienced trauma, abuse, neglect and abandonments. Through this experience she was blessed to provide guidance and hope to those feeling defeated. Her words were, “This is only a setback, but you’re not knocked out” Shalonda says that the first step toward spiritual help is through true submission to God. She believes through your individual submission to God coupled with your Faith in God, you’re on the road to recovery.
